Update your PFAFF® creative™ 2.0 sewing and embroidery machine!

New software version 05437_00504 (2008-10-01):

We strongly recommend you always update your PFAFF® creative™ 2.0 sewing and embroidery machine with the latest software version.

The new software version includes:

Orbit to check position

• Orbiting is used to trace the design area, which makes it easy to see where the design is placed in the hoop. After orbiting around the four corners of the design the machine will at a fifth press also show the centre position of the design.
• With the orbiting you can now not only see where the design is placed but you can also place it exactly where you want it. With the arrow buttons you can now move the whole design, while doing the corner check, which will facilitates positioning of the design on a hooped fabric.

4D™ QuickFont

• In this new software version there are more characters that could be used with the 4D™ QuickFont together with the creative™ 2.0 sewing and embroidery machine. It is now possible to use the following character set in embroidery font sequences.

Hiragana
Cyrillic
Western4

• With this new software you can also “write” sentences (as long as they will fit in the hoop) not only one word at a time.

How to update your machine

• Download the update software directly to your USB embroidery stick. Save the file in the root level, do not place the file in any folder.
• Make sure you don’t have any older version of .lof on your stick.´
• Switch off your PFAFF® creative™ 2.0 sewing and embroidery machine. Connect the USB embroidery stick loaded with the new software version to the USB port on your machine.
• While pressing and holding the needle up/down button and the reverse button, turn your machine on. The new software will install automatically.
• When the reverse indicator starts flashing, release the buttons.
• The update procedure can take several minutes. The graphic display will be blank while the three indicators are flashing in different combinations.´
• When the update is completed the machine will restart automatically. Check the software version number in the settings menu.
