Overedge seam
Using overedge stitches on knit fabrics produces seams that are strong yet stretchy. Overedge stitches finish the fabric and sew the seam in one step Blindstitch foot No. 3 is recommended when sewing overedge seams. This helps guide the fabric and prevents tunnelling at wider stitch widths. Set the stitch wide enough so the right swing of the needle stitches to the right of the pin on the foot. The right swing of the needle should just clear the raw edge of the fabric.
