Collar without collar stand

Transfer pattern markings to fabric pieces. Interface collar pieces with a light to medium weight interfacing. With wrong sides together and matching pattern markings, pin the upper and under collars together. The under collar will be slightly smaller than the upper  to allow the collar to curve naturally to the top side. Gently stretch the under collar as it is sewn, shortening the stitch length slightly at the corners to prevent them from pulling out. The beginning and ending points of the seam are determined by your pattern. Trim the seam allowance, clip the corners and turn the collar right side out. Carefully pull out the collar points using a pin or a point turning tool.
