Concealed Button Placket,

For a concealed button placket there are different edge markings for the left and right fronts. Transfer all markings from the pattern to the required parts of the garment. Use the following procedure for ladies' garments (close from right to left).Clean-finish the raw edge. Fold under the seam allowance and top stitch in place. Sew buttonholes at markings. Press under the front edge along the front fold line and top stitch along the marked stitching line. Fold the band with the buttonholes towards the front, along the stitching line. Press the front edge under along the first fold line. Fold under a second time along the front fold line and topstitch in place. Sew buttons to marked positions.
